Meet Our Horses

An insight into our own horses, their history and their intended future

Marshall Bugsy

Our gelding is Marshall Bugsy (Bugsy), a very deep grey three year old (pictured at the Royal Norfolk Show as a 2yo, where he took 1st place), whom we’ve owned since a foal. Bugsy is very level headed with wonderful presence and hair to die for, which is always commented on by judges. He had a successful first show season as a yearling with multiple 1st’s and finished the season taking Reserve Champion! He’s continued his winning ways as a 2yo and has many 1st’s under his belt this season. Bugsy is shown in a variety of classes, including the assisted young handlers with 10yo handler Bailey, who has been showing him unassisted gaining their first red rosette together! Dam: Marshall Jan Sire: Colloe Grove Turbo. We’d planned to keep Bugsy entire but due to a stock reduction we didn’t present him for approvals in 2024, and decided to geld him instead. He’ll be broken to ride and drive when of age and will hopefully go under saddle in the show ring.

Cannon Hall Gracie

Next up is our little Gracie. She’s a black filly, born in May 2024. She’s been shown with her breeders as a foal at foot, winning both her classes, and taking the foal championship! We hope Gracie’s showing success will continue with us this upcoming show season. We’ve owned Gracie since she was weaned, and she’s proving to be a really big character, who gives the best kisses! Gracie brings some different bloodlines having no Moorfield in her, so we plan to breed her when she’s old enough. She’ll also be shown, ridden and driven if she takes to it. Her dam is Toc Hill Ruby Sunday, and her sire the huge Trem-Y-Wyddfa Courage.
